Foetsie: We have KAST!

We recently started using our new purchase system: KAST. Your credits have been migrated to the new system. However, all passcodes have been reset during the migration. If you encounter any problems, please let us know!
Some people were expecting that the price per credit would be lowered with the introduction of KAST, but due to increasing prices and new products, the price per credit will remain €0,55.

Announcements of the board

The holidays are already over, so it's time to start the new year with some fun activities. We hope you all enjoyed your holidays and are fresh to start the new year. Our candidate board sure is, so don't forget to come to the next General Assembly! And of course, good luck with your studies!

KISO

Date & time: Tuesday 23th of September, 11:00
Location: V5161.0162 (VIP room)

This morning, another KISO (Artificial Intelligence Student Meeting) will take place. You are all cordially invited to attend and discuss the courses you are taking. The KISO is a relay for students that is held by students themselves. We invite students that are part of the many boards that the FWN/FMNS, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, has, so they can directly pick up your feedback. The programme committee of the Artificial Intelligence degree will also be present. The discussions that take place during the KISO can be used to directly apply feedback to the courses: one of the main purposes of the KISO is to detect issues with courses as soon as possible, as to improve the course during its current run.

Translated Rules and Regulations

The rules and regulations of Cover (het "HR") has been translated by a translation agency of the university. We would like to discuss the adoption of the translation at the next general assembly. However, to speed up this discussion we would like you to take a look at the translation beforehand and ask you to provide feedback. Note that we will not discuss the contents of the document, only the quality of the translation.

The translation is available on Google Docs. Please use the comment tool to comment on sections or translations you think are incorrect.

Parking at the Bernoulliborg

Because a lot of people use the parking spaces located on the north of the Bernoulliborg, the RUG decided to inform the parking attendents of the situation and they decided to patrol this area more often. We would like to warn all of you about this, because a ticket for parking on a disabled parking spot is about €370!

Drinking beer in the CACHE

In the past few weeks we noticed that people are drinking beer before 4 'o clock in the afternoon. Because this is not allowed and Cover could get into real trouble if we get caught, we will take away beer we see before 4 'o clock. Buying beer is also disabled in KAST before this time.
