ComExA: TAB Talk: Crop-R
Date & time: Thursday 16th of April, 17:00
Location: Cache (Cover Room)
Ivor Bosloper, CTO of the Groningen-based company Crop-R, will give a talk during the Thursday Afternoon Borrel. Crop-R provides an online cropping (teelt) registration system. By combining existing systems and data sources they are able to innovate in agriculture, world’s oldest sector.
At 16:00, the TAB starts as usual. At 17:00, Ivor will give a 20-minute TAB Talk. After that, the TAB will continue.
TAB Talks are a new concept developed by the ComExA (Committee of External Affairs). During the TAB, we invite interesting companies or PhD'ers to give a short technical talk about their activities. Speakers are invited to stay after their talk, to enjoy a drink and get into discussion with students.

Enter the Tournament of the Jack’s Club!
Have you ever wanted to play one of the most badass card games? This month there will be a tournament in Klaverjassen! This original Dutch card game is played in teams of two and acquires a lot of strategy. I’m sure there are some among you who have never played this game before. Especially for those people there is a workshop where you will be taught the rules and strategies. Then you can test your newly acquired skills in practise! Form teams of two and play against your fellow friends, which are now your opponents.
If this does sound appealing to you, come to Atlantis on the 28th of April. The workshop starts at 20.00 and the tournament at 21.00. See you there!
