Study Support Introduction to Logic

Do you have any problems with Introduction to Logic? Do you want help in preparing for you exam? During this study support session, we will aim to discuss every topic in the course, with special attention going out to topics such as Semantics and Formal Proofs.

Join this unofficial lecture given by students who have passed this course in the past. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions.

ExCee Trip: Edinburgh

The destination is announced: this year’s ExCee is going to Edinburgh! We are going to the land of unicorns, sheep, scotch, kilts, bagpipes, caber tossing and castles, Scotland! Edinburgh has the best AI department and interesting companies, so it has much to offer.

The deadline to register for courses in period IIa is today. If you haven’t registered yet, make sure to do so on ProgRESS WWW before tonight.

Board: Parent Day Committee Members

We want to organise a Parent Day where you can invite your parents (and other family/friends) to visit our university. During the day they will learn about our AI/CS programs and everything Cover organises.

You can be organising the Parent Day this year! We are now forming a committee to organise the day. Apply now by sending an email to intern@svcover.nl (deadline: Wed 6 Jan 2016).

Bètastuf: Open Vacancies

Position: Chair of Mentor/Tutor Working Group
Do you remember who was your mentor? Or are you wondering what was actually the purpose of creating mentor group?
These and among other questions arose while discussing the topic of mentor/tutor groups,especially that this program is important to the support and integration of new students and in many cases it is not given proper attention.
As a chair you will be in charge of leading your working group in evaluating best practices, improving them and informing all programs about the developments. The amount of work varies per week and it is upon your decision how would you like to distribute work timely. Deadline to apply: 6 Jan 2016.

Position: Lustrum Committee
Next academic year the Bètastuf will celebrate its 6th lustrum! And for this occasion we are looking for a group of Stuffers who wants to organize events throughout the year to celebrate the lustrum. A budget is available to organize these events. Deadline to apply: 1 Feb 2016.
