An evening of relaxing and chatting with a beer or other drink is always nice. You know what the board finds even better? Chilling WITH THE BOARD! During this evening you can ask ALL the question — but more specifically the ones about becoming/being/having been a board member of Cover. Whether you have been thinking about being a board member for some time now or have only briefly considered it doesn’t matter, all are welcome.

We hope to see you there so we can tell you how SUPER DUPER awesome it is to be a board member, and how much you learn, and about all the unbelievable, cool and weird things we have experienced while being on the board.

Participate in the very first Cover FIFA tournament and show your very best passing game, long shots and skill moves to beat your opponents. Ofcourse, with the new FIFA 16 Trainer functionality, the game has an option to show you what to do, meaning that even beginning players can directly pick up and play. From 16.00–17.00 people will get a chance to get familiar with the game and after that the tournament begins.

Even if you don't want to play FIFA, you are more than welcome to come and drink a beer and cheer on all the players!

The symposium will take place on the 12th of May, in Plaza Danza, and will contain talks about Serious Gaming, Multiplayer Game Design, Technical Issues with Graphics, and AI in Gaming. You can find more information about the speakers and talks by visiting our website.

We will start by having lunch at 12:00, after which we will have talks from 13:00 to 17:00 (with a break in between). We will end the symposium with a borrel. We hope to see you all there! You can register for the symposium here.

Career Day Committee Members

We are looking for enthusiastic students to participate in the Career Day committee. In this committee the FMNS study associations, the Beta Business Days, and FMNS Career Services work together to once again organise a successful Career Day for FMNS master students, this year on the 1st of December. The Career Day focuses on the skills students need to secure their place on the labour market. Last year 300 students attended. Are you going to ensure that even more students get a grip on their career? If you think you are the right person for the job please send your CV and motivation letter to chairman@betabusinessdays.nl.

Board Members 2016–2017

Are you interested in being in the next Cover board? A board year is a very valuable experience and a lot of fun! Besides that it is a great addition to your resume. In the first half of April we organize an open board meeting and an board interest night (with former board members as well) so you can learn what being in the board is all about. We also organize personal coffee moments where you can ask anything to a board member. If you have any questions or if you want to request a coffee moment, contact the board or one of its members directly!
