In the last few years our faculty has become more and more international. For this reason, study associations Lugus, Cover and GLV Idun are collaborating in an international activity for both their Dutch and international students.
The global dinner will be a 3-course meal for max. €7 in which each course will represent a different part of the world. Cover has limited spots to offer, so be quick!
Treasure Hunt: Indiana Jones and the lost treasure of Cover

Rumours say, that somewhere in Groningen Cover’s lost treasure is still hidden. Many have searched for it, but none have found it.
With your team you are going to solve assignments and riddles/puzzles to progress towards the treasure! Both the assignments and finding the treasure first earn you points. We start at the CACHE. At several locations there will be assignments to be fulfilled.

Next months Borrel has an Epic theme! A theme so long that it wouldn’t fit into our calendar.
As usual we will provide some cheap beer. This time there will be 100 free beers. We hope to see you there!
Symposium: Playing Matters

This year’s symposium will be about ‘Technical Aspects of Gaming’. The symposium is called ‘Playing Matters’, and we hope to see you all there.
The symposium will take place on the 12th of May, in Plaza Danza, and will contain talks about Serious Gaming, Multiplayer Game Design, Technical Issues with Graphics, and AI in Gaming. You can find more information about the speakers and talks by visiting our website.
We will start by having lunch at 12:00, after which we will have talks from 13:00 to 17:00 (with a break in between). We will end the symposium with a borrel. We hope to see you all there! You can register for the symposium here.
