Week review

This week we had the TAD-talk: How NLP can help Festimap. It's an application that helps you find music events close to you. The talk was very interesting and easy going. Afterwards we had a discussion about predicting concurrency prices automatically, which really suited the current chatter in the Cover room.

Committee Assembly

Monday 18th of December, 15:00 till 18:00, NB 5114.0004

The committee assembly will be organised once more. All chairmen and treasurers are urged to come. In case neither can make it to the assembly, make sure to have at least another member of the committee is present to represent the committee.

We will be discussing the budget, so if you wish to modify your yearly budget, this is the time and place to do so. Furthermore we will be discussing the rescheduling and/or cancellation of activities, and the new additions committee manual.

There will be a couple of drinks to conclude the assembly.

Let the academic advisor and fellow students inform you about the options you have to plan your Bachelor program.

We will discuss your compulsory program, practical and elective courses, going abroad, minor options, Masters, etc. Senior students will share their experiences with the practical and elective courses, to help you choose and plan your own programme.

New Years' TAD with Staff

Do you want to work alongside 96 boards in Europe? Do you want to travel, gain experience while studying full time? BEST Groningen is looking for new board members to start in December. Groningen Student Big Band

The GSBB is a high level big band in Groningen for Jazz loving students who like to make music with others during their studies. We rehearse weekly and perform about 4 times a year. There is also an option to take seat in our board.

Do you like helping your fellow students? Are you good at explaining things? The StudCee organises study support for all the Artificial Intelligence and Computing Science students. A first year computing scientist would really complete their ranks, but anyone is welcome!
