[Career Month] Lunch Lecture by Spindle

Tuesday 13th of February, 11:00 till 13:00, BB 5161.0253

Organizing without management

At Spindle the traditional hierarchical model of organization is replaced by a system called Holacracy. In the system, it is assumed that people work better if they're treated as adults and given the opportunity to organize themselves. The classical function building is replaced by an evolving system of different roles. People who work in roles generally have more responsibility for their tasks, which makes them more ambitious to reach the best result. Joris Engbers will tell about his experience with this brand-new way of working. Read more about them here.

Cover will provide free lunch!

It keeps track of everything you have coded and allows you to retrieve older versions of your code. And it makes working together a breeze!
