On Wednesday we had the Little Lovely Active Member Activity to thank all our members in committees for their hard work. We placed a life cluedo game, which everybody enjoyed a lot. With this we also have the committee battle back on, so make sure to check the Cover website for more info!
Afterwards we had the Valentine Social where the lollypops where handed out! Since not everybody was present the remaining lollypops will be placed in the Cover room next week.

[Career Month] Lunch Lecture by Spindle
Tuesday 13th of February, 11:00 till 13:00, BB 5161.0253
Organizing without management
At Spindle the traditional hierarchical model of organization is replaced by a system called Holacracy. In the system, it is assumed that people work better if they're treated as adults and given the opportunity to organize themselves. The classical function building is replaced by an evolving system of different roles. People who work in roles generally have more responsibility for their tasks, which makes them more ambitious to reach the best result. Joris Engbers will tell about his experience with this brand-new way of working. Read more about them here.
Cover will provide free lunch!
Git Workshop
Friday 16th of February, 15:00 till 17:00, BB 5161.0273
Have you always wanted to have a nice overview of all your coding projects? Not having six different test.c files in your directory, just because you wanted to try something out?
Then attend this workshop, which will teach you about the ease and comfort of Git. Git is a distributed revision control and source code management (SCM) system. It keeps track of everything you have coded and allows you to retrieve older versions of your code. And it makes working together a breeze!
During this workshop you will learn the basics of Git, grap the contents, and how to use git for your next (or current!) project.

What about it? Yearly we organise this party in collaboration with other study associations, this year we are with 18 in total. Every year a letter from the alphabet is picked and we think of a theme starting with this letter. You can base your outfit on the chosen letter.
This year the ‘M’ was selected, and the theme we made up is ‘Midnight Madness’. We hope you will all create the maddest outfits and come party with us on Thursday the 22nd of February. It promises to be an awesome night!
