Week review

It was a very busy week with a lot of different events. We started with the General Assembly, which was a succes and the business cycle fund was approved. On Wednesday the National MasterDay AI was in Utrecht. Students could come check out all the different masters that you can do in the Netherlands. On Thursday we had the second Open Board Meeting where people got an inside look on what we do as a board. That evening was the Crash & Compile at Quintor. People competed by completing various programming challenges. It was a lot of fun and a lot of people attended. There even were two teams tied for second place.

The Member weekend just started and I'm very excited to chill out there!

Job vacancy

I am looking for a master student with good programming skills (Proficiency: SQL, Django Python) and an interest in data processing. I promise puzzle and payment! Could you please pass this call on to potential candidates?

Challenge: Within the PAT project master students are now and will be in the future annotating documents with an online annotation system. The export of this system with annotations of different types and complexity (e.g., various annotated elements and annotated relations between these elements) need to be compared and rated. Please contact me if you think you can provide a tool that can present the annotation data in a format that allows comparisons between annotators.
