Trip incoming

Dear members,

Do you like to play games? Do you like to have drinks with your friends? Do you like to combine two great things to create an even greater thing? Come join us for Drinking Games at Unitas on Tuesday the 19th at 21:00. Costs will be at most 8 euros. See you there!

Do you also ever wonder what PhD students do? Or are you just interested in the different kinds of research you will be able to do once you finish your masters? Maybe you are also just interested in socialising with a PhD student? Join us for the second PhD Talk (this time with upgrades), where PhD students come talk about their work. There will be some free drinks during the event as well and you can chat with the PhD'ers afterwards as well.

This year, the IlluminaTee is hosting a three-day Trip to Aachen! Aachen is a beautiful small German city, just across the border of Limburg. It was founded as a spa city and was the residency of Charlamange. Nowadays it is a leading city in technology and innovation and contains one of Germany's University of Excellence. Join us as we explore Aachen's culture: from its historical cathedral to its latest research in Computer Science. More details about the trip can be found at www.aachen.svcover.nl.

All the best,

Max

If you want to apply for a committee please email intern@svcover.nl. A resume or motivation is optional, so feel free to just tell him you are interested!

Memory

The Cover Room, the beating heart of Cover. The Memory keeps this heart beating but always making sure the room is open for a few hours every week. You get to decide how the interior looks as well as being in charge of the Thursday Afternoon Drinks every week.

HEROcee

This is Cover's safest committee. The members of this committee can be asked to perform as an ERO at several activities. If something happens around the Cover Room we can of course also be of help. Apply if you are interested in being a true HERO.

ParenTee

The ParenTee is the committee responsible for showing the studies and university to students' parents. They do this by organising a parents day where you can invite your parents to take a tour. If you want to show your parents or your peers parents around, sign up for this committee.

PropaganDee

The PropaganDee is the committee that designs, create and prints posters for Cover. They assure the quality of the Cover's posters, so that committees are able to focus on other tasks, without having to worry about posters.

Sympocee

Is there a topic of which you could never tire? You would like to hear about different experts from the field for a whole afternoon? Then organising a symposium is right up your alley! The SympoCee organises a symposium every year for this very purpose, to educate Cover members on a wider range of topics.
