Just a Memory...

From last week's General Assembly many positive things emerged. One of them was the revamp of the formerly-known Memory. Their name change to RoomCee is probably amongst their least significant changes! Have a chat with them to see what changed and why!

RoomCee

Next week, we do ...

Yearbook

On this Monday, we present another yearbook that is out of time, but not out of touch! We'll bring you back to the year 2017-2018; where a sharp board started making a yearbook, heroes fought villains, and Cover went to the states! To really get in the mood of '17-'18 there will be a short quiz on that fabulous year with a prize for you to claim!

Two down, one to go...

Movie Night

Would you like to join us for a movie night with all of your Cover friends? On Tuesday we will be watching Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in the Bernoulliborg. Before the movie there will be pizza in the Cover room. If you would like to join us for pizza, please sign up below. If you only want to join us for the movie there is no need to sign up.

Lunch Case

On Wednesday, ING is organizing a case about data analytics. We all know ING as a big international bank based The Netherlands, but they are also very technology oriented. The case will be about finding fraudulent transactions in a large dataset. If you want to join you just need a little bit of python knowledge and a laptop. It will be from 11:00 to 13:00 after which we will enjoy lunch together with the organizers. Let us know if you are coming by signing up or going to the facebook event and putting yourself on 'going'. See you there!

Support Lecture

No matter how long you search you can't find that invariant? Going round in circles trying to make some recurrence functions? Come to our Support Lecture on Wednesday where we will be going through a past exam and helping you get through those proofs!

Having trouble with your logic rules? Is P suddenly not P anymore? It's absurd! Fortunately, there will be another support lecture on Thursday! So please join our Support Lecture where we'll recap the material, and try to answer your questions.

Crash & Compile

On Thursday, the annual Crash & Compile returns! The C&C is a programming competition held at Dataprovider where you take a drink every time your code fails. There will be ten programming exercises, each more difficult than the last, and you'll earn more points the quicker you solve them. There are prizes to win and drinks to be drunk, so sign up (in pairs) as soon as possible, as there are only 30 spaces (15 pairs)! Drinks and Dinner are all free, so there is no entry fee.

We want you to be in a committee!

A committee is a group of friends that work towards a common goal. You can learn about all sorts of topics such as budgeting, planning, sponsoring, and much more! See the website for a complete overview of committees that are looking for members!

RoomCee: The Cover Room, the beating heart of Cover. The RoomCee keeps this heart beating but always making sure the room is open for a few hours every week. You get to decide how the interior looks as well as being in charge of the Thursday Afternoon Drinks every week.

HEROcee: This is Cover's safest committee. The members of this committee can be asked to perform as an ERO at several activities. If something happens around the Cover Room we can of course also be of help. Apply if you are interested in being a true HERO.

Studcee: The StudCee is the committee that provides study related activities for Cover. They give study support lectures for courses in the degree programme, workshops to develop skills as well as managing an exams and summaries database. They have recently created a tutoring system which allows our members to find tutors easily.
