Study time!

Hi all! I hope you've enjoyed your well deserved Christmas break! Unfortunately the exams are already creeping up on us, so the StudCee is here to help you out! They're organizing multiple study support sessions in the upcoming two weeks: Signals and Systems, Calculus, Introduction to Logic and Discrete Structures. Also, the SympoCee has announced the theme of the Symposium on the 12th of March, check out the video to find out!

As you've probably noticed, the DisCover has published their second edition! If correct, all of you have received a copy at home. If something went wrong and you haven't had the chance to look at it, you can pick one up in the Cover room or check it out here!

Last but not least, don't forget to order your books for the upcoming block in the bookstore!

Joejoe,

Marieke

We want you to be in a committee!

A committee is a group of friends that work towards a common goal. You can learn about all sorts of topics such as budgeting, planning, sponsoring, and much more! See the website for a complete overview of committees that are looking for members!

Complaints Committee: This independent committee has the goal to listen to and resolve complaints regarding the way a person has been treated by a member of or a person who is affiliated with Cover. They listen to all involved parties and, in the case of a serious complaint, they advise the board on how to resolve the situation. Of course, they will handle all complaints with as much confidentiality as possible. Please be aware of the fact that this committee is a GA committee. This means that applicants have to be approved by the General Assembly. To keep a good balance a female addition to the committee is preferred.

ActiviTee: This is the activities committee, also known as the "ActiviTee". They make sure that members of Cover have plenty of fun activities to go to outside the Cover room. You can think of drinking activities, creative activities, relaxing activities or more sportive activities. It has something for everyone! We also have a social (“borrel” in Dutch) every first Wednesday of the month in 't Gat van Groningen. Besides this, we organize a big end of the year party in December and a special big activity before the summer break.

RoomCee: The RoomCee is responsible for making sure the Cover room is kept open and fully stocked with snacks and drinks. The room is a nice place to waste your time and keeping it that way is our number one priority. Every thursday at 16:00, there is a social in the room, the TAD. You're invited to come by for a beer, wine or soda!

Are you interested in joining a committee? Don't hesitate to contact Feline, our Commissioner of Internal Affairs!
