GA recap

Hey all! This week we had our very first digital General Assembly, using blackboard collaborate. We have discussed various matters such as the plan of action for next academic year. Three applicants for board XXIX, Amber Chen, --- and Leonidas Zotos have reached out hoping to find more interested people to join board XXIX, so don't hesitate to contact them or the board if you are! Besides that, we will re-open the board applications for anyone willing to help out, either forming an X-person board or a mixed board. You can find more information here, and you can apply by sending a motivation letter to the board, elaborating on the way you would like to contribute! If you ever have any questions, feel free to contact us!

Space Business Innovation Centre:

Wanted: problem solvers using space technology

Do you want to work on impactful cases with technology from space? Or do you want to take one small step towards the combination of science and entrepreneurship? We might have something inspiring for you.

Now you can submit your ideas for the international competitions Copernicus Masters (work with earth observation data and images) and Galileo Masters (work with satellite navigation).

You can apply until June 30

Get out and vote!

From 8 to 12 June, you can cast your vote for the University Council, the central participation body of the RUG. Because of the COVID-19 crisis there will be no physical campaign this year, but of course this does not change the fact that voting is extremely important! The more votes are cast, the stronger the mandate of the student section is to influence the decisions made by the University Board. Therefore, you should find out which party suits you best, and cast your vote! You can find the candidates via this link and the programs and explanation of the council here
