Newsletter

🚗 ¡plɹoʍ ollǝH 🚗

Hey heey,

Woop woop, this newsletter drove itself to your mailbox! And do you know what else can drive itself? The self-driving Lego carts that you will be developing in the RDW Self Driving Challenge! There will be multiple teams competing against each other from Cover, ASCI and RealTime, so if you are up for some friendly competition while sharpening your skills, this is the event for you (don't forget to sign-up in time)!

The Constitutional General Assembly on the 1st of October is also coming up but I'm sure you already knew this as the proper mail was sent yesterday, along with the agenda ;) I hope to see you there!

Now, if you enjoyed the CoverTalks with Joscha Bach and Stephen Wolfram as much as I did, I'm sure you will also enjoy the talk by our awesome in-house associate professor Davide Grossi! He is working on the field of multi-agent systems, which is one of those topics in A.I. that never fails to amaze me! Now just imagine if all the Lego self-driving carts that you develop in the RDW Self Driving Challenge communicate with each other!

That's it for now! Like all things, this newsletter is also coming to an end. I also really have to rush to go to the Dies Natalis of Cover. If there are anuy typos in this newsletter, now you know why.

Toedeloe,

Leo

We want you to be in a committee!

A committee is a group of friends that work towards a common goal. You can learn about all sorts of topics such as budgeting, planning, sponsoring, and much more! See the website for a complete overview of committees that are looking for members!

Board Support Committee

The academic year has almost started! Just like last year, we are looking for some extra pairs of hands, that will form the Board Support Committee! This is a great opportunity to get to know what the board does behind the scenes, while also helping to organise fun activities! The form of the Board Support Committee hasn't been determined yet for this year. This means that it can be a very flexible committee, depending on your availability. If this has peaked your interest, we'd love to hear from you and shape the committee together!

Are you interested in joining a committee? Don't hesitate to contact Feline, our Commissioner of Internal Affairs!
