Board XXX is here to serve!

Hi everyone,

Last wednesday we suited up and got ready for the constitutional general assembly. Here, board XXX officially was installed and board XXIX got discharged. I would like to thank my predecessors for handing over the gavel to me, and I promise we will make it a great year! (in case you're wondering, a gavel is basically just a hammer, but I'm not supposed to call it a hammer)

Up next week, there is new and exciting things planned once again! First up is the silent disco that's happening on Monday. A silent disco is the perfect place to asocially be social. Tune out all of your friends and listen to some sick beats while they do the same!

That Monday is an extra exciting day for any AI second year student! There will be some exciting introductory activities taking place for them, to after a year of Corona finally get them aquinted with uni, campus, and their classmates! This will also be happening in case you are a second year CS student, but then one week later. Make sure to be there!

On Tuesday, one of the most exciting parties of the year takes place. It is time for another itteration of Prominent in de Tent! PidT is a big party organised in collaboration with some of our lovely brother associations! The theme of the party is the 70s and 80s, so get ready to be thrown back in time and boogie like no one is watching!

I hope everyone is as excited as I am to join these parties, and I wish the second year students an awesome Monday!

Hasta la vista,

Alissa

We want you to be in a committee!

A committee is a group of friends that work towards a common goal. You can learn about all sorts of topics such as budgeting, planning, sponsoring, and much more! See the website for a complete overview of committees that are looking for members!

RoomCee: The RoomCee is responsible for making sure the Cover room is kept open and fully stocked with snacks and drinks. The room is a nice place to waste your time, but also to hang out with Cover members both young and old, and keeping it that way is the RoomCee's number one priority.

ExCee: The ExCee has only one task. Together they try to organize an awesome trip within Europe. This trip involves company visits, university visits, and the general opportunity to experience some culture.

ComExA: ComExA stands for Committee of External Affairs. This committee supports the commissioner of external affairs by making and keeping contact with companies. This is important for both the members and the association since Cover needs sponsorship to do all kind of awesome things. In this committee you get the chance to get to know a company and maybe even find a company for a final project or for a job.

Are you interested in joining a committee? Don't hesitate to contact Zoe, our Commissioner of Internal Affairs!
