Newsletter

Facebook might be broken but this newsletter isn't!

Hello everyone!

It is Friday again, which means it is time for another newsletter! This week was a fun one. Especially the silent disco that the ActiviTee organised was a blast! I cannot wait to see what else this upcoming year will bring us now that parties like this are allowed again!

The upcoming week also has a lot of fun in store again for everyone! Starting off, there will be a Second Year Cohort Day, which is a day for all of our second year bachelor students to get to know eachother, staff, and our beautiful campus. Make sure to be there!

Then this week holds two big announcements! Firstly, the monthly socials are back! Next Wednesday, the first social of the year will happen. Starting at 18:00 you are welcome to drop by at any time to unwind, hang out with friends, and enjoy one of the 100 free beers/sodas that will be provided that night!

Another event that comes back after having been away, are the weekly TADs! TAD stands for Thursday Afternoon Dinks. This means that from 16:00 onwards on Thursday, there will be €30 worth of free drinks in the Cover room. This week we will have a Boctober TAD. For this Board games in October (Bo-ctober) TAD we invite you to the Cover room to play some games and enjoy some appropriately themed drinks!

I hope to see everyone at these exciting events, and if not I still hope you'll have a great week!

Hasta la vista,

Alissa

We want you to be in a committee!

A committee is a group of friends that work towards a common goal. You can learn about all sorts of topics such as budgeting, planning, sponsoring, and much more! See the website for a complete overview of committees that are looking for members!

ExCee: The ExCee has only one task. Together they try to organize an awesome trip within Europe. This trip involves company visits, university visits, and the general opportunity to experience some culture.

StudCee: The StudCee is here to provide study support! Either by organizing support lectures, hosting old exams and summaries online, or maintaining an awesome tutoring system, they try to give students that little extra edge on a more personal level, and make sure to have fun in the process.

ComExA: ComExA stands for Committee of External Affairs. This committee supports the commissioner of external affairs by making and keeping contact with companies. This is important for both the members and the association since Cover needs sponsorship to do all kind of awesome things. In this committee you get the chance to get to know a company and maybe even find a company for a final project or for a job.

Are you interested in joining a committee? Don't hesitate to contact Zoe, our Commissioner of Internal Affairs!
