A Saturday Newsletter???

Hello everyone!

Yes, it is true, this week the newsletter is coming to you on a Saturday instead of a Friday. So if you were already feverishly refreshing your inbox, continuously checking your spam filter, and getting ready to email me about where it was, your worry can now end as the newsletter has arrived!

Last week, we finally got to enjoy some social events again! The first social of the year took place, as well as the first TAD of the year. I was personally very happy to see both of these events return, and cannot wait to attend the next iterations!

The upcoming week will start off with a long anticipated event, the Cat Cafe Study Session! Join the StudCee and your fellow students at the Cat Cafe and study, enjoy a drink, and be emotionally supported by cats! It is bound to be a fun, relaxed, but also very useful event, so make sure to attend!

As always, this Thursday will also have a TAD! The theme is still unknown, but it is bound to be a lot of fun once again!

Next week, we will be hosting a Mario Kart Tournament together with our brother association FMF. Defend Cover's honour and let's show them that we are the better Mario Kart players! Besides that, fun is guaranteed and the overall winner will win an awesome price. There is thus no good reason to not sign up!

The last noteworthy upcoming event is SNiC. SNiC is a very big IT conference that takes place every year, organised by students, for students. This year's theme is MobilIT, and the main focus of the event will be on the IT of mobility. Exciting speakers will be there to tell you all about this topic, and limited tickets are available, so make sure to snag a ticket while you still can!

And with that, we have once again reached the end of a newsletter. I will talk to y'all again in the next one, then returning to you on Friday!

Hasta la vista,

Alissa

We want you to be in a committee!

A committee is a group of friends that work towards a common goal. You can learn about all sorts of topics such as budgeting, planning, sponsoring, and much more! See the website for a complete overview of committees that are looking for members!

ExCee: The ExCee has only one task. Together they try to organize an awesome trip within Europe. This trip involves company visits, university visits, and the general opportunity to experience some culture.

PhotoCee:The PhotoCee makes sure that Cover has astonishing pictures from the events that are hosted, be it a simple TAD or monthly social, a sports event, or even the gala. It's their duty to ensure that the Photos page on the website is filled with the most memorable photographs of your time here at Cover.

PropaganDee: The PropaganDee is the committee that creates and/or prints posters for other committees. Actually, they are the committee that you can call somewhere in between the moment you need a poster and the moment you want to print it. In that way, the quality of the Cover posters is assured and committees are able to focus on other tasks, without having to worry about posters.
