Happy holidays!

Hello everyone!

And that's a wrap! The Christmas break is here, which means the academic part of 2021 is now officially over. I hope everyone will have the happiest of holidays and a happy new year!

The holiday period also means a few weeks without Cover. We will be celebrating and relaxing at home during the break, but after we will be back to continue organising all types of activities for everyone.

One important one that's already scheduled is an upcoming GA. During this general assembly every member of the association is invited to discuss the future and current state of the association. We hope to see as many of you as possible there, as GA's are very important for our association to function.

And that also wraps up this newsletter! I wish everyone a great Christmas break, and I will see y'all again after!

Hasta la vista,

Alissa

We want you to be in a committee!

A committee is a group of friends that work towards a common goal. You can learn about all sorts of topics such as budgeting, planning, sponsoring, and much more! See the website for a complete overview of committees that are looking for members!

PhotoCee:The PhotoCee makes sure that Cover has astonishing pictures from the events that are hosted, be it a simple TAD or monthly social, a sports event, or even the gala. It's their duty to ensure that the Photos page on the website is filled with the most memorable photographs of your time here at Cover.

IntroCee: The IntroCee organises the introduction period for first year students. From the introcamp to the barbecue, and everything in between, this committee makes sure every first year has an unforgettable first week!

ExCee: The ExCee has only one task. Together they try to organize an awesome trip within Europe. This trip involves company visits, university visits, and the general opportunity to experience some culture.

Nice to know

Due to the extended corona measures, just like last year, it is not an easy time for us students. With the new forms of education it is important that the university and Hanze know what their students are facing and how they can help their students. Therefore, the Groninger Students' Union in collaboration with Lijst Calimero, SOG, Lijst STERK and HSV has set up a reporting point wellbeing. In this 5-minute survey you can indicate how you experience the current situation as a student and how you would like it to be better. If as many students as possible fill this in, we can compile the anonymous results in a report and offer it to the educational institutions. Thank you in advance! :)

The tallest Christmas tree ever displayed was in Seattle, Washington, measuring 221 feet (approx. 67 meters) tall.
