Just a regular newsletterHi everyone!
This will be a very normal newsletter. Sometimes a little calm and normal is needed during hectic periods. So here this newsletter is, a moment of calm for everyone to see what excitement next week has to offer!
On Monday there will be a open board meeting! Do you want to find out what a board discusses during their weekly meetings and thus get a peek behind the scenes of all they talk about? Be sure to join the meeting! There might also be cake!
Then on Tuesday the annual Staff Lunch will take place! Come to the Cover room to enjoy a nice free lunch while talking to staff from our programs. Not only will the food be good, the conversations you will have with the staff are something you do not want to miss!
On Thursday the monthly social will take place! This time with a monochrome theme. So dress yourself head to toe in your favourite colour and join this fun night of music, great outfits, and drinks!
Before the social, a Pre-Social Talk by CGI will be given. Robert Musters, a Cover and AI alumnus, will join us to talk about what you can do after your studies based on his own experience. Make sure to sign up!
That was the newsletter again! I will see y'all next week!
Hasta la vista,
Alissa
We want you to be in a committee!
A committee is a group of friends that work towards a common goal. You can learn about all sorts of topics such as budgeting, planning, sponsoring, and much more! See the website for a complete overview of committees that are looking for members!
SporTee: The goal of the SporTee is to keep the members of Cover in shape by organising sporty and fun activities. Things like bouldering, karting, and ice skating are all among the fun activities they have organised!
YearbookCee: Every year, the YearbookCee creates and releases a yearbook that documents and highlights all the highs and lows of one year. It is a fun and creative process, with a very tangable end result. Join it if you want to be part of this process!
StudCee: The StudCee is here to provide study support! Either by organizing support lectures, hosting old exams and summaries online, or maintaining an awesome tutoring system, they try to give students that little extra edge on a more personal level, and make sure to have fun in the process.
Are you interested in joining a committee? Don't hesitate to contact Zoe, our Commissioner of Internal Affairs!
