To LAN or not to LAN

Hello everyone!

There is a chance that if you are reading this right now you are also enjoying the LAN that is happening right now. I hope everyone has a great time at Belsimpel playing games and hanging out for 24 hours! But even if you decided not to LAN, I still wish you a good weekend and a lot of fun in the upcoming week!

This next week, we have a crash & compile planned for you! In collaboration with Dataprovider, you are challenged to complete ten increasingly more and more difficult programming challenges, all while enjoying some beers and free pizza!

Also starting on Monday there will be a a chess tournament. It is organised together with our brother association FMF. Take this chance to prove you are the best chess player either of the associations has to offer, or just join for the fun!

On Friday it is finally time for the Cover Beer Cantus to take place! Enjoy a night of songs and drinks with your fellow Cover members. It is an event you do not want to miss traditional Dutch drinking feast.

And then last but very much not least, on the 24th of May this year's career day will take place. During the Career day you will be able to orient yourself on what you might want to do after your studies are done. Go to presentations, talk to companies, and visit the career market. You are promised to walk out with a lot more knowledge on what your future might have in store for you!

That was this week's newsletter again! I will see you all next week again.

Hasta la vista,

Alissa

We want you to be in a committee!

A committee is a group of friends that work towards a common goal. You can learn about all sorts of topics such as budgeting, planning, sponsoring, and much more! See the website for a complete overview of committees that are looking for members!

HEROcee: This is Cover's safest committee. The members of this committee can be asked to perform as an ERO at several activities. If something happens around the Cover Room we can of course also be of help.

StudCee: The StudCee is here to provide study support! Either by organizing support lectures, hosting old exams and summaries online, or maintaining an awesome tutoring system, they try to give students that little extra edge on a more personal level, and make sure to have fun in the process.

SporTee: The goal of the SporTee is to keep the members of Cover in shape by organising sporty and fun activities. Things like bouldering, karting, and ice skating are all among the fun activities they have organised!
