Hello hello,

Spooky season is ahead of us and ActiviTee has us COVERed! On Tuesday we will start it off with some Pumpkin Carving. Pumpkins, carving tools, and templates are provided, so all you need to do is bring some creative ideas!

Staying within the theme of the week, the TADs theme is Halloween. Join us for some spooky fun while enjoying the free drinks.

After the TAD there will be a Halloween Movie Night. Two iconic films will be featured, just right for the spirit of Halloween: 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' and 'Tucker and Dale vs Evil'. Sign up for a hauntingly good time!

Talking about spooky, exams are drawing near. In order to help you prepare, StudCee has support lectures organised again. On Monday we will be supported for Statistics for AI and Statistics and Probability for CS. On Tuesday Functional Programming is on the agenda.

I wish you a wonderful start to the next week.

Auf Wiedersehen, Jellybean!

We want you to be in a committee!

⚠️ Here is a cool thingy for our new members: Ever heard of a committee? A committee is a group of friends that work towards a common goal. You can learn about all sorts of topics such as budgeting, planning, sponsoring, and much more! See the website for a complete overview of committees that are looking for members!

We're going on a trip! In our favorite rocket ship! Not quite actually, but we are going on a trip! Cover does an excursion every year and you can be part of the organisation behind it! If you like travelling and want to share that experience with other people, ExCee is the committee for you. ExCee has a lot of freedom in what they organise, where they go, and what they do there. As well as a trip to a foreign place, you will also plan a visit to a fascinating company or another educational experience! Join ExCee to make a great excursion for all Cover members.

Do you want to learn how to make and maintain a website and other digital infrastructure? AC/DCee is the committee for you. Whether you already know a lot about web development or want to learn about it, this committee is interesting for everyone. Do you want the tasks of fixing bugs, redesigning some of the webpage, or undertaking a project to further Cover's digital infrastructure, you can do it all in AC/DCee!

Are you interested in joining a committee? Don't hesitate to contact Luca, our Commissioner of Internal Affairs!

One of the most heartwarming Swiss laws pertains to guinea pigs: It is strictly prohibited to have just one of the adorable creatures! They require social interaction to thrive, and owning a lone guinea pig is deemed detrimental to its well-being, making it illegal in Switzerland.
