The time has come again...

That time of the year has been reached once again.. I am almost afraid to say it... It is exam time! First of all, I wish everyone good luck on all their exams, you got this! This week we will support you once again with a set of support lectures.

Starting on monday with a Recursion Workshop (CS). Recursion has always been a difficult topic for many, because as you know: To understand recursion, one must first understand recursion. Come join us for some extra recursion lessons.

On Tuesday there is yet another support lecture, this time it is the Programming Fundamentals (CS) Support Lecture. Make sure to get this last bit of exam preparation if you can.

Wednesday is the last one of the block, we will be ending things with the Imperative Programming (AI) Support Lecture. It is absolutely imperative to come to this lecture as part of your preparation for the exam.

As a little light at the end of the tunnel we also have many events planned for the next block, for example the Financial ML Reading Group by IlluminaTee. We will be working together with GIT (Groningen Investment Team) and lecturer Juan Diego Cardenas Cartagena in this reading group about financial Machine Learning.

To start February right, you can come to the Cover Room for some chill Board games. It is time for the anual Board Board Game Game Night Night. Forget studying for a bit, after all of these stressful times and focus your mind on some healthy competition.

I hope to see you at all of these lovely events and of course in the Cover Room, where you can always find me for a game, a drink or just a lovely conversation.

See you at the bbq🍖🍺!

Julian

We want you to be in a committee!

⚠️ Here is a cool thingy for our new members: Ever heard of a committee? A committee is a group of friends that work towards a common goal. You can learn about all sorts of topics such as budgeting, planning, sponsoring, and much more! See the website for a complete overview of committees that are looking for members!

Studcee is one of our most important educational committees. They organize support lectures for all your (least) favorite courses. They also manage our study channels (which you can find here and our exam database.

IntroCee is renewing! IntroCee is the committee in charge of organising the Introduction Week. The IntroWeek is the first week of uni that is filled with events for the first years so that thea can discover the university, Cover and to facilitate meeting new people. The main events during the week are the introductory barbecue and of course the IntroCamp: the weekend of fun and games! If you enjoyed your IntroCamp in your year and want to share that experience with the future first years, you can do so through IntroCee! Even if you didn't attend the IntroCamp, IntroCee is a great committee to make an unforgettable event for the first years!

Are you interested in joining a committee? Don't hesitate to contact Phillip, our Commissioner of Internal Affairs.
