Almost throughWe are already approaching the last week of exams, I fully trust that all of you are doing well and pulling through. I believe in you! Do not forget to take a breath a times and to not let yourself get consumed by studying. The weather might not be great at the moment, but some fresh air is still very important.
As is always the case, we have a lineup of events ready for you! You have untill today at 17:00 to sign up for the Financial ML Reading Group with professor Juan Diego Cardenas Cartagena. You will have the opportunity to apply what you have learned from the reading group on real data using your own algorithmic trading strategies.
Our next events will take place after the exams have ended. To recover from this stressful period, you can join us on the 4th of February for the Board Board Game Game Night Night. We will be playing some wonderful board games, eating some great snacks and enjoying some amazing drinks.
On the 5th of February, we are collaborating with our great brother association Professor Francken. Professor Francken is the association for engineering physics on the FSE, and they will help us organise a Fourier Features and Physics inspired ML workshop.
On Friday the 7th of February, SporTee invites you to come to the Ice Skating event. This event is for everyone, whether you are a professional ice skater, or this is your first time. Be sure to sign up for some icy fun.
Starting on the 10th of February, our predecessor Board 32: Esto Quod Es will be kidnapping us, stealing our laptops and hacking the website. They will be taking over the events for the duration of this Heimweek. Keep an eye on the Cover site to see what wonderful events they have in store for you.
See you at the bbq🍖🍺!
