A new block

Today the exams are finally coming to an end, which means that next week a new block will be starting. I sincerely hope that you finished this block with a good feeling and step into the new block refreshed and ready to learn. As always, I have a great lineup of events for you.

We will be starting our events on Tuesday, with the Board Board Game Game Night Night, where you can join the Board in playing some Board Games. Prepare for an epic Game Night (at Night of course). We will have some free drinks and snacks for you, so make sure to drop by.

On wednesday we will collaborate with Professor Francken to give a Fourier Features and Physics inspired ML Workshop.

On Friday the 7th, you can find us at Kardinghe, where we will be ice skating. Don't worry, you do not have to be a professional to join us. Even if this is your first time, step onto the ice with us and we will promise you a fun day.

I have also managed to get my hands on some information. It turns out that our predecessors (Board XXXII - Esto Quod Es) is missing their Board Year. from the 10th untill the 14th of February they will steal our laptops and hijack the events for a week. Keep your eyes on the calendar to see all of the heimweek activities.

See you at the bbq🍖🍺!

Julian

Research Project

Hi! I’m Amelie, a master’s student at Utrecht University. For my master’s thesis project, I am researching how students experience their courses in maths and computer science BSc programmes – and I would love to hear from you! I have created a questionnaire to learn more about your thoughts on your courses and assignments. With the results, I want to identify relevant factors for supportive learning environments. Please click here to start the questionnaire – it should take less than ten minutes to complete. Please also consider filling it out for other classes you are currently taking. Your submission(s) will not be shared with your teacher(s). Thank you in advance for contributing to my research!
